Paralegal courtney poss
With well over ten years of experience as a paralegal working with business, employment, and criminal defense attorneys, Courtney decided to focus her work on criminal law and follow her passion for helping others in difficult situations by joining Ghanouni Teen and Young Adult Defense Firm.
“As a teenager, I had close friends in legal trouble who received wrong or bad information about a criminal case – that still has an impact on them to this day,” she notes. “I know one bad decision shouldn’t ruin the rest of your life.”
Courtney adds that her personal contact with law enforcement when younger had an impact on her and contributed to her desire to help others in tough situations. “It is rewarding to help someone during the worst time in their life,” she says. “I like being able to help them see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Prior to becoming a paralegal, Courtney attended Reinhardt College in Waleska, GA. She holds a bachelor’s of science in sociology and psychology, and was on the Dean’s List throughout her four years in school.
When not working, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their three dogs. She can often be found watching her oldest daughter in wrestling practice at Woodstock or competing in a wrestling tournament. Courtney also loves going to the beach and spending time outside.
