Forgiveness Day

Posted by on

It’s completely normal for people to make mistakes along the way, but it can become extremely difficult to let go of their slip-ups (big or small). This June 26th marks another annual Forgiveness Day. If you’re the parent, loved one, or friend of someone who has made some mistakes in the past, consider Forgiveness Day the inspiration you need to move past the situation and forgive them. It’s the best way to help them move forward and achieve their full potential. Holding on to mistakes and past difficulties results in an unhealthy cycle of pain, distrust, and resentment that emanates from both sides. Avoid considering the individual’s behavior as a personal affront and you’ll find that it’s much easier to avoid turning a mistake or two into years of bitter feelings. Considering that, how are you going to celebrate this Forgiveness Day?
